Reserch on Optimization of Electronic Optical System of X-band Klystron

Abstract This paper has completed the simulation of X-band 1 MW klystron electronic optical system, and optimized electron gun focusing system respectively. The adopts a single beam scheme. voltage current is 80 kV 45 A respectively, perveance about 2.0 μP , average emission density cathode 6.81 / cm 2 . design electromagnetic focusing, maximum magnetic field in uniform area 0.33 T. calculation results show that distribution electric lines uniform, fluctuation DC pass rate reaches 100%, which meets requirements.
